Alvaro Liceaga, M.D.
Medical Director - Anesthesiologist, Pain Management Specialist
Since 1983, Dr. Liceaga has lived and learned the art of medicine. He has gained experience in what it takes to provide the patient with the best possible medical care. His accomplishments include graduating from the prestigious Rush Medical College in Chicago, the completion of a Residency in Anesthesiology and a Fellowship Pain Management care. After achieving Board Certification in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management, he has worked to grow his very successful practices in Los Angeles, Orange and Fresno Counties.
He is founder of the Regional Pain Treatment Medical Center, a full service Interventional Pain Management Practice that includes Pain Management, Chiropractic, Pain Psychology and Acupuncture.
He subsequently founded and is the Medical Director of Alliance Surgery Center in Los Angeles County CA and Orangewood Surgical Center in Orange County CA
Andrei Dokukin, M.D.
Dr. Andrei N. Dokukin is a Board Certified Physiatrist (MD Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) who also has been fellowship trained in Pain Medicine and Musculoskeletal Medicine.
Dr. Dokukin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from City University of New York Hunter College. He received his medical training at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he also completed one year of training in Internal Medicine. His residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation took place in Montefiore Medical Center Albert Einstein School of Medicine in the Bronx, N.Y. where he also served as a Chief Resident. Dr. Dokukin completed his Pain Fellowship under Dr. Francis P. Lagattuta in Santa Maria California.
Dr. Dokukin uses minimally invasive techniques with the help of ultrasound, fluoroscopy (X-rays), and electromyography guidance to treat vast variety of diseases of joints, nerves, and bones and muscles that produce pain. He also specializes in treating disease and painful conditions of the spine. His scope of practice includes testing for the disorder of nerves and muscles by using Electrodiagnostic Medicine known as Nerve Conduction Studies and Electromyography. His expertise in Rehabilitation medicine gives him an edge on treating people with disabilities that may result from amputation, strokes, or brain injuries.
Dr. Dokukin also has a special interest in Performing Arts medicine, and has experience in treating dancers and musicians. Dr. Dokukin's special interest in Musculoskeletal Medicine and Performing Arts Medicine originates from his previous career of a professional ballet dancer. Experiencing many of the injuries firsthand during his training in the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia and The Juilliard School in New York, as well as touring and performing with the American Ballet Theatre. This experience adds to his understanding of musculoskeletal disorders and their impact on patient's careers.

Christopher Johnson, D.C.
Chiropractor
Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and is certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia.
He graduated from the Southern California University of Health Sciences. Dr. Johnson is associated with the Regional Pain Treatment Medical center and maintains a private practice in Whittier.
Dr. Johnson practices full time as Director of Chiropractics at the Regional Pain Treatment Medical Center, a private multi-disciplinary, state of the art pain management facility in Whittier, California.
He is certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia and maintains privileges at Orangewood Surgical Center and Alliance Surgery Center.
Angela Davidson, D.C., CCSP
Angela Davidson, DC, CCSP, joined RPTMC in 2004 as Director of Rehabilitation. She was carefully chosen for her clinical expertise, commitment to continued learning, and reputation for excellence as a health care provider and educator. Dr. Davidson continues to expand her skillset as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, Certified Kinesiotape provider and Certified Manipulation Under Anesthesia provider. She was Iowa State Champion and collegiate scholarship 400 meter hurdler, and continues a lifetime of athletics with pursuits such as mountain biking, hiking and weight training.
After a 15 year career on the B-2 "Stealth Bomber", Dr. Davidson changed paths to follow her passion for health care. She graduated magna cum laude from Southern California University of Health Sciences/Los Angeles College of Chiropractic where she earned the President's Award for Excellence in Leadership. She has remained with SCUHS for more than a decade as Assistant Professor in the classroom, developing and delivering the Active Care and Rehabilitation curriculum; she also supervises chiropractic interns in a clinical setting. She has lectured internationally and teaches at the post-graduate level as well.
Dr. Davidson has a special interest in community and corporate health, and welcomes opportunities to lecture about health-related topics. She regularly enjoys community service as a Chiropractic provider through annual events such as the Avon Breast Cancer Walks, Wildflower Triathlon and AIDS Lifecycle.
